Work Experience
Gained extensive experience in civil litigation, procurement law, administrative law, medical negligence, and unlawful arrest matters. Developed strong legal drafting skills, preparing a wide range of documents including contracts, memoranda, legal opinions, pleadings, heads of argument, affidavits, and service-level agreements.
Appeared and argued in both opposed and unopposed cases before the North West High Court (Mahikeng), Free State High Court (Bloemfontein), Eastern Cape High Court (East London), and the Labour Court (Braamfontein, Johannesburg).
Acquired substantial experience in labour law, having presided over disciplinary hearings, conducted internal investigations, and served as both pro-forma prosecutor on behalf of the employer and defence counsel representing senior officials, including Heads of Department, Deputy Director-Generals, Chief Directors, and Directors.
Appeared in various bargaining councils such as the CCMA, GPSSBC, PHSDSBC, and TOKISO, and served as a representative of a witness before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector (including Organs of State).
